Short, very visual tour

Discover the world of heroes in miniatures
The Brussels Comics Figurines Museum (formerly MOOF) immerses you in a private collection of figurines based on Belgian comics, comics and manga. Everything is designed for a very visual visit: dense windows, decorations, colours, references that speak to children and parents alike.
The visit is easily done in short format, in the heart of Brussels, in the Horta Gallery (level -1). We go from one universe to another without needing to “know everything” to hook, with sequences that alternate figurines, videos and projections.
The museum in 6 points
- A very visual museum : sets, showcases, staging, you can understand at a glance.
- Various heroes : Belgian comics, comics, manga, with a journey that changes atmosphere without being long.
- Easy format : allow about 45 minutes for the visit, perfect for a day in the city center.
- Retro cinema : a “cartoon” screening room that appeals to the family.
- City centre : in the Galerie Horta, Brussels-Central stop, so very easy without a car.
- Brussels Card : the museum is indicated as accepting the Brussels Card.
We love it!
- The immediate side: this is not a “must-read” visit, it works first and foremost by the eye and by the staging.
- The short and dense format: a lot to see, without spending hours on it.
- The ultra-central location: perfect to combine with the Grand Place, Royal Galleries, historic center.
- The presence of a retro cinema that breaks the rhythm and revives the attention.
The team’s opinion
This is a very simple visit to place when you are in the center of Brussels and want a “visual” experience that does not require a lot of concentration. The museum works well with the family because it is dense, rhythmic, and you can move forward at your own pace, stopping on what speaks most to children.
The right way to use it is to think of it as a short stopover, between two moments in the city. You save the energy for the future, and you leave with an impression of “seeing a lot” without spending the afternoon there.
