🎟 1 map, 49 museums and discounts throughout the city
The Brussels Card is a bit like the key to Brussels: for 24, 48 or 72 hours, you have unlimited access to 49 museums in the capital, as well as a series of discounts on attractions, guided tours, shops, restaurants and bars.
This is a good plan if you plan to:
- a long weekend in Brussels,
- a few days of family vacation,
- or if you want to (re)discover the emblematic museums without blowing the budget.
You choose the duration (1, 2 or 3 days), pick up your card at one of the visit.brussels offices, and off you go: you visit one museum after another and enjoy discounts throughout the city.
The highlights of this pass!
- 💳 One pass for 49 museums : no need to buy tickets one by one, you show your card at the entrance and you enter.
- 💸 Savings from 2–3 visits : If you visit several museums over 1 or 2 days, the Brussels Card quickly becomes more cost-effective than separate tickets.
- 🧒 Very practical for the family : you organize your days according to the energy of the children, without “wasting” a ticket if the visit ends faster than planned.
- 🏛 The great classics included : Museum of Natural Sciences, Train World, Autoworld, Comic Strip Museum, Belgian Chocolate Village, BOZAR, Magritte, etc.
- 🎫 Extra discounts : on selected tourist attractions, guided tours, shops, restaurants and partner bars.
The Brussels Card in 4 points
- Discounts everywhere
Your Brussels Card entitles you to discounts on certain attractions, guided tours, but also in partner shops, restaurants and bars . The discount vouchers can be found in the guide provided with the card. - A 100-page guide + plans
You receive a practical illustrated guide (FR / EN / NL), a city map and a map of the museums, perfect for organising your days without spending your time on the phone. - Ideal for a weekend or 3 days
- 24h: ideal if you are passing through and want to visit 2–3 museums.
- 48 hours / 72 hours: weekend or city-trip format, with time to enjoy at your own pace.
- Option with public transport
There is a version of the Brussels Card with STIB transport included (bus, tram, metro). This is very convenient if you don’t come by car and plan to do everything by transport.
The team’s opinion
We really like the Brussels Card because it really simplifies life, especially for a family:
- You no longer wonder about the price at each entrance: the card is already paid, you enjoy.
- It’s a great excuse to discover museums that you might not have visited otherwise (Sewer Museum, more specialized museums, contemporary art centers…).
- As a city trip, it’s a very good way to structure your days : a museum in the morning, an activity or a walk in the afternoon, a few discounts on guided tours or restaurants.
In summary, if you are planning several cultural visits during your stay, the Brussels Card is a great plan to keep your budget under control while seeing the best of Brussels.

Questions
Yes, if you plan to visit at least two or three paying museums per person over the duration of the card (24h, 48h or 72h). Between the included tickets and the discounts on other activities, the economy quickly becomes interesting, especially with teenagers.
Among the 49 museums, you will find:
Train World (Train Museum),
the Museum of Natural Sciences,
Autoworld,
the Comic Strip Museum,
the Belgian Chocolate Village,
the Planetarium,
several royal museums (Beaux-Arts, Oldmasters, Fin-de-Siècle, etc.),

The exact list may change slightly, so be sure to check it at the time of booking.
The chosen duration starts when you use the card for the first time (e.g. entering a museum). From there, you have 24, 48, or 72 consecutive hours to enjoy the included museums.
Yes, the Brussels Card gives unlimited access to partner museums during its period of validity: you can therefore return to the same museum if you have not had time to see everything (very useful with young children).
Discount coupons are listed in the guide that comes with the card.
You present your Brussels Card or voucher at the time of payment at partner locations (attractions, guided tours, shops, restaurants, bars). Some discounts remain valid beyond the card’s validity date, until January 31 of the following year.
