– IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION –
FROM 23 MAY 2026

Tutankhamun: an immersion between video mapping, VR and pharaonic treasures
If you are looking for an immersive outing in Brussels on the theme of ancient Egypt, this exhibition is a very good option. At Terminal 1, at the Brussels Expo, the exhibition combines monumental projections, a virtual reality experience, a walk through the metaverse, a smart photo booth and a room of artefacts inspired by the world of Tutankhamun.
Tutankhamun in 5 points
- Ancient Egypt in large format : the tour immerses you in the world of pharaohs, mystical tombs and golden treasures.
- Large immersive room : the exhibition offers 360º projections, with one of the largest immersive video mapping rooms in Europe.
- Seated VR experience : the virtual reality part takes you to the Valley of the Kings, in addition to the exhibition.
- Very visual tour : there is also a smart photo booth and a walk in the metaverse, which makes the visit more fun than in a classic exhibition.
- Focus on Tutankhamun’s tomb : the tour takes you to explore the pharaoh’s tomb, guided by the voice of Howard Carter, the archaeologist who discovered it.
Why we like it
- A real alternative to classic museums, more visual and immersive.
- The mix of projections + VR + exhibits avoids the monotonous visit effect.
- An indoor format that is easy to fit in on weekends or when it rains.
- A good family plan, especially with children curious about history and immersive experiences.
The team’s opinion
If your kids love ancient Egypt, pharaohs, treasures, or immersive experiences, this is an outing that can work very well. We find it particularly interesting with school-age children, because the course is very visual and alternates several formats. The real plus is the mix between immersive room, VR and exhibits, which avoids the monotonous visit effect. For the youngest, you just have to keep in mind that VR is reserved for 7 years old and over.
