Familin’Bruxelles loves the Run To Kick
Run to Kick is organized by KickCancer, a foundation that supports research against childhood cancers.
100% of the funds raised during Run to Kick are allocated to Fight Kids Cancer research projects. Each participant therefore contributes directly to the collection thanks to donations obtained from his or her entourage.
Run to Kick 2026
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, the Bois de la Cambre will host the 9th edition of Run to Kick, the great solidarity race organized by KickCancer to support research against pediatric cancers.
Here, you don’t need to be a great sportsman: Run to Kick is a family-friendly, festive and non-competitive event, with no official stopwatch or ranking. Everyone chooses their challenge, with walking routes of 2 or 5 km and running courses of 2, 5 or 10 km.
The goal goes far beyond sport: 100% of the funds raised during Run to Kick are dedicated to innovative Fight Kids Cancer research projects, in order to develop better treatments for children with cancer. Families can participate together, create a team and mobilize their entourage around their collection.

Walking
Two distances are proposed: 2 km or 5 km
A good option to participate with young children or simply enjoy the event without any particular sporting objective.
The race
Participants who wish to run can choose between: 2 km or 5 km or 10 km
The race is not timed : no ranking, no time to beat and no time barrier. Everyone moves at their own pace.
Why go with the kids?
Run to Kick allows children to share a sports activity with their families while raising children’s awareness of solidarity and the importance of medical research.
The format is particularly accessible since the event welcomes participants of all ages and physical conditions. Families can create their own team, choose the same distance and raise funds together for KickCancer.
Children under the age of 12 must simply remain accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
How to participate in Run to Kick?
Participating in Run to Kick takes place in two stages.
Each participant starts by registering online and pays a €12 registration fee. He can then freely choose to walk or run and select the distance that suits him. The choice of route can be changed up to the day of the event.
Collecting donations
Each participant then has their own fundraising page and mobilizes their family, friends or colleagues.
To obtain your bib, you must have collected at least:
€100 for minors and students under 25 years old
€200 for other participants
Registration is considered final when the minimum amount of collection is reached. Bibs and t-shirts are only given to participants who have reached this minimum.
