The Romanesque Festivals 2026

On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, the Romanesque Festival returns to Wolubilis, in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, for its 50th edition.

Throughout the weekend, the spaces around Wolubilis will be transformed into open-air stages with a free festival combining street arts, contemporary circus, creations in the public space and shows to discover with the family.

Several companies have already announced their presence for this anniversary edition. The full program has yet to be unveiled by Wolubilis: this page will be updated as soon as it is published.

Saturday, September 26

Upcoming Schedule — The Quarter of a Second
Swinging trapeze and roller skates several meters off the ground. Duration: 45 min, all audiences, accompanied children.

Upcoming schedule — NEWROZ
A circus concert with Persian sounds mixing acrobatics and music. Recommended schedule and age to come.

6 p.m. — NAVELS
A participative and crazy show around the hula hoop, between humor, dance and fake wellness classes. Duration: 50 min, from 6 years old.

6 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Fifty-Fifty
A creation specially imagined for the 50th edition of the Fêtes Romanes by Be Flat with the second year students of the ESAC.

Sunday, September 27

Second opportunity to discover this show mixing swinging trapeze and roller skates. Duration: 45 min, all audiences, accompanied children.

6 p.m. — NAVELS
Second chance to discover this participatory show around the hula hoop. Duration: 50 min, from 6 years old.

7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. — CUISTAX
A giant cuistax transformed into a real mobile circus apparatus with the artists of Be Flat.
