For everyone

Two days of open-air music in Brussels
The Fête de la Musique is coming to the Parc du Cinquantenaire for two days of concerts, entertainment and a good atmosphere in the open air. With its esplanade, its fountain, its large lawns and its museums, the Cinquantenaire became one of the great meeting places of the Fête de la Musique in Brussels.
On the program : free concerts, several musical styles, outdoor stages, food trucks, bars, entertainment for children, street arts, circus and a very family atmosphere. It is an ideal outing to enjoy the beginning of summer without organizing a complicated activity.
People come to listen to music, walk in the park, eat something on the spot, let the children enjoy the atmosphere and spend some time outside, in the heart of Brussels.
Why go with your family?
Because the format is very simple with children. You can spend an hour on site or stay longer, depending on the age of the children, the weather and the energy of the moment.
The park makes it easy to get around, take breaks and get away from the crowds if needed. This is also what makes the event more accessible than a classical concert: you don’t have to sit still, silent, or follow the entire program from start to finish.
Saturday is especially family-friendly, with an opening earlier in the day and an open-air festival atmosphere.
Don’t miss
Concerts on the esplanade
The heart of the event takes place on the Esplanade du Cinquantenaire, with several stages and a varied musical programme. It is the best place to enjoy the festival atmosphere.
Activities for children
Workshops and activities for kids are planned during the event. That’s what makes it really interesting to go out with the family, even with children who wouldn’t necessarily last a whole concert.
Street arts and circus
In addition to music, the park also hosts visual and lively proposals around street arts and circus. Perfect for capturing children’s attention between concerts.
The Cinquantenaire Museums
The programme also takes place in several places around the park, including the Royal Museums of the Army, the Art & History Museum and the Pavilion of Human Passions. A good way to mix music, culture and discovery of the neighborhood.
