Atypical concerts in the homes of locals!
Sunday, May 10, 2026

On Sunday 10 May 2026, the Living Room Music Festival returns for its 22nd edition in the Pannenhuis district, between Jette, Laeken and Molenbeek. The principle is simple and very successful: residents open their living rooms to host intimate concerts of traditional music, and the public composes its route through the neighborhood throughout the afternoon.
The festival operates with a pass giving access to 3 concerts of your choice among 10. Each concert lasts 30 minutes, then half an hour is planned to reach the next room. Journeys can be made on foot or by bike, in a maximum of 15 minutes, which makes the formula particularly pleasant for a family outing without complicated logistics.
It’s a proposal that changes from the more traditional festivals. Here, you don’t spend your day in a large room or in a compact crowd: you walk around a neighborhood, you discover houses, you listen to artists in a very close setting, and the atmosphere remains friendly from start to finish. For families, this can work very well with older children or children who are already comfortable with walking and listening to music. The festival is free for children under 12 years old.
The 2026 program brings together artists from several musical backgrounds, with a real idea of a sound journey from one show to another. The festival also highlights the meeting between neighbours, volunteers, spectators and musicians, which gives this day a particularly warm neighbourhood spirit.
