All audiences, from 8 years old
The Belgian experience par excellence

We love it
- The combined format : chocolate workshop + museum visit + tasting
- A truly interactive activity: your children don’t just watch, they make their own chocolates.
- The pedagogy of the chocolatier, who explains the gestures, answers questions and reassures the most shy.
- The small size of the groups, which allows everyone to participate.
- The ultra-central location: ideal for a day of discovery in Brussels.
The workshop in 5 points
- 1-hour hands-on workshop : You prepare real chocolate treats under the guidance of a professional chocolatier.
- Combined workshop + museum ticket : Access to the Choco-Story Brussels Museum is included, with demonstration and tasting.
- A gourmet and educational experience : History of cocoa, manufacturing secrets, anecdotes… Your children learn by having fun (and tasting).
- Audio guide in 8 languages : Audio guide available in French, Dutch, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Chinese: convenient for international families.
- Indoor activity : The workshop and the visit take place entirely indoors: perfect in case of rain or uncertain weather.
Discover a 100% Belgian chocolate workshop
Choco-Story Brussels is THE chocolate museum in the capital. With this workshop, you don’t just watch: you really get your hands dirty.
For an hour, an expert chocolatier will guide you step by step to make your own creations (lollipops, small bites, gourmet mixes, etc.). Children and adults alike learn the basic gestures and leave proud of their achievements.
Your ticket also includes a self-guided tour of the museum, a demonstration on chocolate making and a tasting. It’s an opportunity to understand how cocoa arrived in Europe, how Belgian chocolate is made today… while tasting, of course.
The team’s opinion
A chocolate workshop just a stone’s throw from the Grand-Place is the perfect combo for a day in the city. We like the very concrete side: the children handle, pour, decorate… and leave with their creations.
A visit to the museum is a great addition to the workshop: you understand where cocoa comes from, how chocolate was made in the past and why Belgium has made it a speciality. It is an activity that we recommend as much for a first visit to Brussels as for local families looking for a gourmet outing.
