With children from 6 to 12 years old

A compact and fun capital, Brussels is perfect with “big” curious people: open-air comics, interactive museums, viewpoints and chocolate workshops. Here is a turnkey day at the pace of 6–12 year olds!
Quick overview of the day
- Morning : Grand-Place → mini comic strip fresco hunt → Mont des Arts (view).
- Noon : Easy lunch at the WOLF Food Market (large covered hall, choice for everyone).
- Après-midi (au choix) :
- A. Sciences & dinos : Museum of Natural Sciences (Dinosaur Gallery – the largest in Europe).
- B. Europe & BD : Parlamentarium (free, hyper interactive) + Comic Art Museum.
- Plan B pluie : Chocolate workshop – Choco-Story (from 7 years old, by reservation), Train World (giant locos), Autoworld (open 7 days a week).
Why it works at 6–12 years old: alternating outdoor challenges (frescoes), “wow” content (dinos, trains, cars) and interactive tours (Parlamentarium).
🌧️ What if… Is it raining all day?

From ~7 years old: make your own tablet/lollipop then open house. Reservation required for workshops.
Option 2: Train World (60–90 min)
Life-size locomotives, immersive scenography. Closed on Mondays, last admission 3:30 pm.
Option 3: Autoworld (60–90 min)
