1. Pairi Daiza – the great animal show (1 hour from Brussels)
Voted the best zoo in Europe several times, Pairi Daiza is an exceptional animal and botanical park located in Brugelette. You will discover giant pandas, elephants, white tigers, but also a marine world and birds in free flight.

2. Planckendael – the ultimate family zoo (30 min from Brussels)
In Mechelen, Planckendael is a human-sized zoo, organised by continents. Children can climb into the giant playgrounds, follow sensory trails and get up close and personal with the animals: giraffes, koalas, penguins…

3. The educational farms of Brussels
For a simpler and free outing, several urban farms welcome families:
