Discover a tribute concert to Middle-earth
The Fellowship continues to live on through the music of the Lord of the Rings saga.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the trilogy in cinema, Candlelight offers an exceptional tribute concert in Brussels. In the prestigious setting of the Concert Noble, a string quartet performs the most beautiful themes composed by Howard Shore for the three films: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King.
You take a seat in a room entirely lit by candlelight, for a musical and cinematographic journey to the heart of Middle-earth. An ideal outing for fantasy fans, music lovers and families with big children.
Candlelight “The Lord of the Rings” in 5 points
- Official tribute to the trilogy : program built around Howard Shore’s iconic themes, approved by the composer.
- Live string quartet : professional musicians bring the melodies of the films to life in an immersive setting.
- Prestigious hall : the Concert Noble, a large Brussels ballroom, entirely illuminated by thousands of LED candles.
- Accessible format : concert of about 60 minutes, perfect for a movie-concert evening without going to bed too late.
- For fans and families : recommended from 8 years old, with an atmosphere that appeals to teenagers and adults alike.
We love it
- The 100% Lord of the Rings repertoire, which links the major themes of the three films: Concerning Hobbits, The Riders of Rohan, Into the West…
- The Candlelight atmosphere : a room plunged into darkness, lit only by candlelight, very photogenic.
- The chic setting of the Concert Noble, a listed venue in the European quarter, perfect for a slightly exceptional evening.
- The duration of 1 hour, which allows you to enjoy the concert before or after a restaurant in the neighborhood.
- An intergenerational outing : fantasy fans, teenage cinephiles, music-loving parents… everyone gets their money’s worth.
The team’s opinion
Si vous avez vibré devant les films de Peter Jackson, ce Candlelight est une façon très émouvante de retrouver l’univers du Seigneur des Anneaux. The music, already cult, takes on a new dimension live: we rediscover the sweetness of Concerning Hobbits, the tension of the battle themes and the nostalgia of Into the West, carried by the strings and the reverberation of the room.
With children from 10–11 years old who are fans of fantasy, it is a very nice first classical concert experience. For a kid-free night out, it’s also a great date idea for couples or groups of geeky friends.
