Brussels Dance Festival
From Friday 14 to Sunday 23 August 2026, the centre of Brussels will be transformed into a large open-air dance stage for the Brussels Dance Festival. For ten days, shows, performances and events take over several emblematic places in the capital.
From classical ballet to hip-hop, contemporary dance and urban arts, the festival celebrates dance in all its forms. The program mixes performances, battles, concerts, workshops, DJ sets, screenings and participatory experiences, accessible to experienced dancers as well as the simply curious.
The activities are mainly divided between the Place de la Bourse, the Place De Brouckère, the Place de la Monnaie and the Grand-Place, in front of the City Hall. Each place offers a different programme, between large stages, initiations and monumental performances.
The Brussels Dance Festival can easily be discovered with the family. Children and teenagers will be able to attend the shows, discover different styles and participate in some group activities. However, it is advisable to check the times and conditions of access for each appointment.

- Saturday 22 August: BELGIGABARRE, a performance around classical dance, from 3 pm to 5 pm, Place de la Monnaie
- Saturday 22 August: closing evening with several shows from 8 pm to 10 pm
- Sunday 23 August: participatory sessions of the Bal Moderne at 2 pm and 7 pm, Place de la Monnaie
