Hide & Seek Festival
From Monday 17 to Saturday 22 August 2026, the Hide & Seek Festival transforms Brussels into a great musical treasure hunt. For six days, the public is invited to attend concerts in emblematic places, unexpected or usually closed to visitors.
Over the course of the week, the public will discover the room of a private circle, a STIB tram depot, a former ballroom, a sewing workshop and the studios of the P.A.R.T.S. dance school. Each concert allows you to meet an artist, explore a musical tradition and discover a new facet of Brussels’ heritage.
The programme for this edition: six days of festival, eleven concerts and more than 40 Belgian and international artists. Music from Armenia, Madagascar, Haiti, Congo, Brazil, Colombia, Syria and Iran will resonate in different districts of Brussels.
The festival also highlights emerging Brussels and Belgian artists through a programme of showcases presented to the public and professionals from several European countries.

- At 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm: BELAMBA, music of Madagascar, in the former ballroom of the Council of State

- At 12:30 p.m.: Lydie Thonnard, in the CYCLUP workshop-boutique
- At 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm: Enara Navaira, at the Maison des Brasseurs
Thursday, August 20
- At 12:30 p.m.: Renette Désir and Rodriguez Vangama, at the Ixelles Town Hall
- At 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm: Bia Ferreira, at the heart of the STIB Marconi depot
Friday, August 21
- At 12:30 p.m.: Ialma Trio, at the Epitaaf funeral workshop
- At 5 pm: guided tour “Mariole in the Marolles”
- At 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm: Tonada, in the former LAVABO brewing site
Saturday, August 22
- At 12:30 p.m.: Elias Bachoura, at the Centre for Tibetan Studies
- At 5 pm: guided tour dedicated to the Forest valley
- At 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm: Gardan Ensemble, in the studios of P.A.R.T.S. / Rosas
The program associates each artist with a place chosen for its history, architecture or activity. Guided tours require a separate ticket and do not provide access to the concert held afterwards in the same area.

Among the decorations selected for this edition:
- The Cercle Royal Gaulois: a private club located in the heart of the Brussels Park
- The Council of State: its historic library and its former ballroom
- CYCLUP: a workshop dedicated to sewing and reuse
- The Maison des Brasseurs: a historic building on the Grand-Place
- The STIB Marconi depot: a hangar usually used for Brussels trams
- Epitaaf: an ancient workshop linked to funerary art
- WASHBASIN: a former brewing building located in the Marolles
- The Center for Tibetan Studies: a center for Buddhist meditation
- P.A.R.T.S. / Rosas: the studios of P.A.R.T.S., the contemporary dance school founded in 1995 by choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker

The Hide & Seek Festival 2026 will take place from Monday 17 to Saturday 22 August 2026 at various locations in Brussels.
The festival takes place in several unusual places in Brussels throughout the week: the Cercle Royal Gaulois, the Council of State, CYCLUP, the Maison des Brasseurs, the Ixelles Town Hall, the STIB Marconi depot, Epitaaf, LAVABO, the Centre for Tibetan Studies and the studios of P.A.R.T.S. / Rosas.
The concerts are offered at €18 in presale, €22 on the day and €14 for members of Muziekpublique. Discounts are also available with Paspartoe or Article 27 depending on the organizer’s conditions.
Reservation is not advertised as mandatory, but it is highly recommended. Venues have limited capacity and some concerts may be sold out. Tickets are available on site only if there are tickets left.
The festival does not specifically offer a programme for young audiences and no general minimum age is indicated. For Familin Brussels, we recommend it more for pre-teens and teenagers who are able to attend a concert, especially for performances organized in the evening.
Yes, a ticket office will be available at each site within the limit of available seats. Payments will only be accepted by Bancontact or Payconiq. Cash, Mastercard and Visa will not be accepted on site.
