Discover a flamenco evening without leaving Brussels
We Call It Flamenco is a magical show that immerses you in Spanish culture without taking a plane. In four acts, you will discover several “palos”, these different styles of flamenco, performed by professional artists on the stage of the Espace Lumen.
A play of lights, flowers, shadows, swirling dresses and heels hitting the ground: everything is there to experience an intense and elegant Andalusian evening, ideal for an outing as a couple, with friends or with older children / teenagers.
The show in 6 points
- A show in 4 acts: a journey through several styles of flamenco, to discover the richness of this dance.
- Sublime décor: flowers, plays of light and shadow create a very visual atmosphere, worthy of the great Andalusian stages.
- Professional artists: dancers, guitarists and singers with exceptional talent, for a real high-level show.
- Artistic direction: a show created, directed and choreographed by
María Farelo and Cristian Pérez of Luma Artistas S.L. - Ideal duration: approximately 60 minutes of show, doors open 30 minutes before the start, with no delays allowed to preserve the experience.
We love it
- The real Andalusian immersion : live music, singing, dancing, costumes, everything is there.
- The quality of the artists: dancers, guitarist and singer are professionals who carry the show from start to finish.
- The 4-act format, which allows you to discover different palos without ever having the impression of length.
- The very elaborate set – flowers, lights, shadows – which gives an almost cinematographic dimension to the show.
- A duration of about 1 hour, perfect for an evening with children from 8 years old or teenagers.
The team’s opinion
A real flamenco evening like in Spain: singing, guitar, dancing and a very neat décor. We love the energy of the artists and the way the show is built in 4 acts, with moments that are sometimes powerful, sometimes more intimate.
Children from 8–10 years old are often captivated by the costumes, the rhythms
and the clapping of feet, while the adults enjoy the musical quality and emotion.
It is an excellent choice for an evening as a couple, with friends or family with older children / teenagers, especially if you already like a little Spanish culture or if you want to discover it other than at the tapas restaurant.
