An absolutely fascinating immersive journey!

Ready for an extraordinary trip?
Do you dream of embarking on a journey to the centre of the Earth or diving with the Nautilus… without leaving Brussels?
Since June 2025, Jules Verne 200 – The Immersive Journey has been transforming the Horta Gallery into a digital exploration vessel: 3,500 m² of monumental projections, a 25-minute 360° film, a virtual reality “MetaVerne” and tactile settings that recreate five cult novels by the visionary author.
Jules Verne 200 in 6 points
- Journey through 5 cult novels : Explore Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Around the World in 80 Days, From the Earth to the Moon and Robur the Conqueror.
- 360° projections : More than 1,000 m² of animated images for a total immersion in the fantastic world of Jules Verne.
- VR 3D Dome Experience : Climb aboard imaginary worlds through virtual reality and a spectacular dome.
- Between art and science : A sensory, poetic and documented adventure, which mixes technology, literary narrative and a spirit of exploration.
- Accessible from 6 years old : An experience designed for the whole family, as educational as it is fun.
- In the heart of Brussels : The exhibition is held in the Galerie Horta, a stone’s throw from the Grand-Place.
Why do children love it?
- Thanks to the 360° projections, animated sets and sound effects, children feel like they are on board a submarine, a giant balloon or a train launched around the world. Each room immerses them in a new fantasy universe, inspired by Jules Verne’s novels.
- The play of light, virtual reality and spectacular staging stimulate their imagination while arousing their curiosity. It’s a fun way to learn about science, travel, and history… without ever getting bored!
The team’s opinion
The Horta gallery, transformed into the Nautilus bridge, blew us away from the first screening. The teenagers went on the hunt for the golden “N” and VR without any downtime.
In 70 minutes, you come out with stars in your eyes and the desire to reread Jules Verne’s books.
