BIFFF Edition 2026, for fans of fantasy cinema
From 3 to 18 April 2026, Brussels will host the 44th edition of the BIFFF, the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. For 16 days, the festival takes over Brussels Expo, at the Heysel, and once again confirms its special place in the Brussels cultural spring.
On the program, more than a hundred feature and short films, in the world of fantasy and genre cinema. The BIFFF is not just about screenings: the festival also announces masterclasses, exhibitions and many off-screen events, which makes it a much more immersive outing than a simple cinema session.
What we like is precisely this unique atmosphere, between passion for cinema, offbeat universes and loyal audience. Whether you come for a film, to discover the festival or simply to enjoy the atmosphere of the BIFFF Village, it is one of the most unique events of the season in Brussels. Access to the festival site is free, although film screenings require a ticket.
